Don’t Try This At Home… Or Anywhere (Worst Cover)

There’s this song. And you love it. You really really do. Like, a lot. And then, something terrible happens. Some other artist sings it. And now your ears are shattered, your fond feelings toward the original now tainted. The effects would not be that bad if it was just a drunken night at a karaoke bar… but no, an actual recording artist RECORDED AND RELEASED IT! Fuck you, Avril…. Just…. Fuck You.

And there are even more awful Avril covers. I voted for Lohan cause the whole movie thing annoyed the hell out of me, Lohan playing Stevie Nicks in a movie would be a disgrace. Look what she does to her songs, just think what she'd make to the woman herself.

I would love to vote in this poll but I just can't decide which one is the worst. I want to vote for all the Avril Lavigne ones, Lindsay Lohan, Panic at the Disco, Fall Out Boy and Madonna. But i have no problem voting for an other the other songs either.
Why do these people insist on killing music?!?!?!?!?!

I voted for "Fuel", if only because I remember seeing the Metallica "MTV Icon" show, and being embarassed for them that Avril was destroying the song right in front of them. Another "MTV, what were you thinking?" moment.

they think that if they sing those songs, people will think they're deep and original or whatever, but they aren't!
they're ruin beautiful songs!! *grrr*

Finally someone recognized that panic cover. He makes his voice childish and almost like he's singing a love song. Definitely not how you're supposed to sound in 'This Is Halloween'. However, in the "I am the who when they call who's there?" verse his voice in pure genious (if only he'd sung the entire song that way!), and the instrumental of the song is brilliant. So this is hardly the worst song on the list, and I didn't give it my vote.

you forgot Avril's shit cover of Basket Case....she is a loser...and the version of "This Halloween" made by Panic! is great....they don't deserve to be in this pool...anyways...I choose "Knoking On Heaven Doors"...

that is, in my opinion the worst cover EVER, she doesn't even know the damn lyrics, and again, she's probably trying to be all tough by pretending she likes SOAD
